Coffee talk

It’s almost the weekend which means one thing in our house – Saturday morning coffee and croissant. While I’m still searching for the perfect croissant and pain au chocolate in Brussels, I do know where to find the best coffee. The Natural Caffe at the corner of Avenue Louise and Rue Lesbroussart.

They serve Illy brand coffee made by skilled baristas – and the result is rich, smooth caffeinated heaven. They open at 9:00am on Saturday and 10:00am on Sunday, and there are often people waiting at the door to get in (good sign). A friendly crowd and free wi-fi make this a great place for a morning latte or cappuccino.

Where’s your favorite place to spend Saturday mornings? Post a comment.

196a Avenue Louise, 1050 Ixelles
Tel: +32 2 646 72 14
Open: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-7pm, Saturday, 9am-7pm, Sunday, 10am-6pm

For delicious croissant try at “De Baere” (http://www.debaerepatisserie.be/fr/accueil). My favorite is the raisin croissant yumi 🙂

A little follow up to this post – this guy (http://www.forewords-coffee.com/home) is now serving coffee in front of Waterstone’s book store downtown.
