I’ve just discovered a cool online tool – Shop in Brussels. Available in English, French and Dutch, this handy website allows you to search for shops, restaurants and other services and displays the results on a dynamic map. You can start the search by category or by neighborhood and then narrow down the results. The map also highlights transport options in the area, including parking garages, taxi ranks, bike rentals and public transit.
One bonus feature on the site is the After Work Shopping button that appears at the bottom of the search results. Click here to get a list of places open until 8pm every Thursday.
The website was developed by Atrium, the regional agency for the commercial development of Brussels.
Is this a sign thatBelgiumis finally getting the hang of consumer-oriented services?
