As mentioned before on this blog, I love interior design. I’m always looking for inspiration and cool ideas (resulting in a costly obsession with home decor magazines), so am eager to check out COCOON this year.
Touted as the largest home and furnishing exhibition, the 22nd COCOON is currently taking place at Brussels Expo. The event includes more than 300 exhibitors showing new designs and latest trends in furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, carpets and textiles. There are also more practical, every-day items on offer, including linens and kitchen accessories. The exhibition is divided into different zones – contemporary, chic, exotic (not sure what that means?), classic, technical, outdoor and lifestyle.
COCOON is open every day until 27 November from 11am to 7pm, and until 11pm on Friday 25 November. Tickets cost €10 at the door or €8 online. Your ticket also gives you access to the GOURMETS & WINES event from 24 to 27 November, where 100 exhibitors are offering food products and wine from France and across Europe.
Even if you’re not looking to buy anything (or not allowed to like me :)), exhibitions like this are always great places to find design ideas and new products.
P.S. Today is Ladies’ Day – free entry to all my interior-design-loving girls out there!
