Britxos, the English-style tapas bar in Saint Gilles, is hosting their first Friday Gourmet Evening tonight and I have two places up for grabs!
The Friday evenings is a new concept – a gourmet meal in a tapas format. The dinner is a set menu including soup, a fish course, a meat course and a dessert. The menus will vary week to week, and Britxos will offer alternatives for vegetarians. Chef Alex is still working on the final menu for today but I do know that it will include a special dish from Budapest and a trio of Britxos’ best desserts. Sounds like a pretty good way to start the weekend.

Even if you don’t win, be sure to reserve a seat (space is limited to 18 people). The cost is only €35 per person for a 4 course meal, with a half bottle of wine and one cocktail included. The dinner service starts from 7:30. Book by email at britxos@labritannique.com or by phone at 02 613 48 90.

Wow, this sounds incredible! I’ve already tried the café des spores you wrote about in the blog and you had it right! AMAZING food! If Britxos is anything like I heard it is, i would definitely like to try it. Plus, I think the girlfriend would freak out if I could surprise her with this Friday Gourmet Evening! 😀
