Continuing with yesterday’s theme, I’ve got another suggestion of how you can get into the holiday mood. Saint Nicholas is coming to town next week and he’s not just for kids!
The afterwork drinks party @seven is hosting a special St Nick evening to help raise money for UNICEF on 6 December at Mirano Continental (38 Chaussée de Louvain). The event is co-hosted by the Cyprus Presidency and will be a great way to enjoy a drink with friends while helping children in need.
There will be live music, Cypriot specialities and Saint Nicholas will even make an appearance to hand out treats and collect donations. Doors open at 7pm and the entrance fee is €7 (free for @seven yellow cardholders). And if you feel like dressing up, the suggested dress code is red and white – a Saint Nicholas or Santa costume will even get you free entrance!
See all the details on the Facebook event page.
As you may have seen from previous posts, UNICEF is near and dear to my heart, so please join in next Thursday for a little holiday fun. If you’re interested, you can also check out all of the activities organized by the Expats for UNICEF group in Brussels, like pub quizzes, concerts, wine tastings and art exhibitions, on their Facebook page.
